IRIB MEDIA TRADE, as the exclusive international distributor and representative of IRIB, provides valuable access to Iranian media content and resources. It consists of the Acquisition Department, the Sales and Co-production Department, and the Festivals Department.

The acquisition department is exclusively responsible for providing programs for Iranian local TV channels. It purchases various programs, from feature films and drama series to documentaries and children's programs.

The sales department of IRIB MEDIA TRADE actively promotes IRIB productions in international markets, already selling programs to significant companies and TV channels such as ZDF, YLE, TRT, Channel 4 TV, ASTRO, MBC, etc.

Another part of IRIB MEDIA TRADE activity is entering titles into international festivals, where Iranian films have continuously won prizes and critical acclaim, including the hugely successful "Dance of Dust," "Paper Airplane," "Traveler from the South," "Tear of the Cold," "Hayat," etc.

IRIB MEDIA TRADE is also active in co-production and is always searching for reliable partners. "Wild Life of Iran" is a perfect example, co-produced with BBC, "Willow and Wind" co-produced with NHK, "One More Day" with MHS in Canada, and "Strangers" with Norouz production in the US, etc.
