In the face of modern anxieties, three friends in "The Lazy Ones” (Lamandegan) make a radical choice: to do less.

Description

This genre-bending comedy follows their quest to embrace "lamandegi"—a lifestyle of deliberate slowness and digital disconnection—as a humorous and poignant rebellion against the pressures of productivity, social media, and societal expectations. Ramin, Kourosh, and Foad adopt a radical philosophy: if a slow-moving tortoise lives 300 years while a hyperactive rabbit barely survives four, then perhaps “doing less” is the key to living more.

While rooted in the Iranian cultural context, The Lazy Ones speaks a universal language of millennial and Gen-Z disillusionment. Its tone balances gentle irony with heartfelt moments, offering both laughter and reflection—proving that sometimes, the most rebellious act is simply to pause.
