Thanks to the efforts of the IRIB Media Trade, this documentary has been accepted at the New York Kurdish Film Festival, which will be held from October 21 to 26.
"Nomad Girl" is about the life of Susan Rashidi, a nomadic girl who, despite all the problems and obstacles, becomes the kickboxing champion of Iran several times. Susan tries to convince the nomads to start a kickboxing club for their daughters under the black tent, but most of the families are against it.
This documentary has been accepted at the FEMI Bulgaria, Indian International Folklore, Kazan Muslim Cinema, and Hungary MEDIAWAVE festivals so far. In addition, it won the best film award at the OKO Film Festival in Ukraine.
