The documentary "Standing with the Wolf" will be showcased at the "Smart Cinema International Film Festival" in Russia

Directed by Saeed Nabi and Maryam Khadivi Boroujeni, "Standing with the Wolf" as part of the "Loneliness" documentary series produced by IRIB Channel One, is set to participate in the second edition of the Smart Cinema International Film Festival with the support of IRIB Media Trade.

Smart Cinema International Film Festival focusing on "Environment, Nature, and Wildlife," will be held in Moscow, Russia, from November 29 to December 1, 2024.

The documentary highlights the inspiring life of Mr. Jalali, a devoted park ranger deeply committed to protecting the environment. Despite carrying numerous pellets in his body from poachers’ guns, he has decided to focus on educating the younger generation in schools, believing that education is the most effective weapon for safeguarding nature.

"Standing with the Wolf" has previously been featured in the 23rd Baikal International Film Festival in Russia and the 31st SUNCINE Environmental Film Festival in Spain. It was also nominated for the "Golden Panda Award" at the 31st Sichuan International TV Festival in China. It recently won an award at the CMS VATAVARAN Environmental Film Festival 2024 in Delhi, India.
