The festival will take place in Mogilev, Belarus, from September 24 to 26, where this Iranian historical epic will be showcased alongside the world's finest animation productions.
Established in 1998, Animaevka has become one of the most respected global platforms for animated films, featuring three main competition categories this year: professional films, children's animation, and visual arts.
"The Chivalrous" presents a pivotal moment in Iranian history—the Mongol invasions—through its portrayal of the courage and strategic resistance of Persian commanders. This selection marks a significant opportunity to showcase Iran's animation capabilities through a narrative that blends national identity, religious values, and epic storytelling traditions.
The series' inclusion represents both artistic recognition and a cultural bridge, with selected works subsequently featured in Animaevka's international touring program.
