This year marks the tenth anniversary of the BSIFF, which is considered one of Africa's prestigious film festivals.
"Ani & Mani" is an animation that tells the story of a sister and brother of the same name alongside their family. It has now been chosen as a selected work to be featured in this African cultural event, which brings together works from artists all over the world.
Selection for this festival means the "Ani & Mani" animation has been chosen to be included in the festival's digital archive and will also be screened at the Black Star Festival 2025. Given the objectives of this edition of the festival, this selection is not only an international achievement for Iran's animation industry but will also position the work alongside other selected pieces as a credible resource for researchers, institutions, and future media technologies worldwide, contributing to the preservation and promotion of global visual cultural heritage.
The Black Star Festival is scheduled to be held from December 28 to 31, 2025.
