The stop-motion production, created by Saba Animation Center, will represent Iran's rich cultural heritage at the prestigious European festival running September 12-15 in Chania. Directors Behrooz Yaghmaeian and Abtin Yaghmaeian have crafted an educational series that introduces children to Iran's artistic legacy through innovative animation techniques.
The festival will feature competitive screenings of "Museum" alongside other short animations from around the world, along with professional workshops and VR/AR exhibitions. Industry experts will judge entries across multiple categories, including Best Animation and Audience Choice awards.
Cultural observers note the selection demonstrates growing international recognition for Iranian animation productions that creatively showcase the nation's heritage. The series's unique visual style, inspired by traditional Persian architecture and decorative arts, has been particularly praised by festival programmers.
